… I don’t think that if a person was beheading another person, they would do it delicately. I love Gentileschi’s version. Women were always depicted as delicate, so painting this woman as strong was awesome.

So what do you do when your town is under water ?
You find the only open bar and drink. which happens to be the pig and whistle, i would usually not recommend any one going there but desperate times call for desperate measures. Long island ice tea? i think so!

So, I went into the city. The commute home was a disaster. I caught the train and it wouldn’t go any further than Bald Hills, so I had to get a train back to Northgate, then into Sandgate, then a bus home.
But now, I am absolutely terrified. The floods will break the record floods of 1974. That was my largest fear. I just want this to all be a dream.

floods scary the shit out of me! I have seen some bad ones in my life. Where i grew up in nsw was notorious for rally bad floods. We had a museum dedicated to them and just before we left there was a really really bad one where many people died.
